Kangana Ranaut Gets Sarcastic And Sings 'Achcha Sila Diya Tune Mere Payaar Ka' As Hansal Mehta Calls Simran A 'Mistake'; Filmmaker Responds
Hansal Mehta and Kangana Ranaut worked together on the film Simran which sadly did not do so well at the box office. It seems the filmmaker has many bitter memories attached to the film. In his latest tweet, he called Simran a mistake. While talking about not regretting anything, Hansal Mehta mentioned that he supported Anna Hazare and does not regret it. He further added that all people make mistakes, he made Simran. Kangana Ranaut who essayed the lead role in the film gave a sarcastic reply to Hansal Mehta's post.

Replying to it, Kangana stated that she stood by him and now he is saying this. Her reply read, "That’s true Hansal sir, even you will agree with that, I stood by you and now you saying this, feel like singing ‘achcha sila diya tune mere payaar ka (look how you have repaid me for my love)'." The filmmaker did not take much time to respond to Kangana and clarify that his tweet was not directed towards her. He called Kangana a fine actor in his reply.

Hansal Mehta's reply read, "Firstly, the tweet wasn’t about you. Secondly, there are things that happened after the film that left me more than hurt. It made me sorely regret making the film. All said and done you remain a fine, fine actor. And you have my respect for that. And for your kindness." Check out the tweets below:

In the past, Hansal Mehta has often spoken about Simran. In one of the interviews with Huffington Post, Hansal Mehta had said, "I sometimes wish I never made it. There was no need. It was an unnecessary aberration in my career. It makes me sad, it could’ve been a much better film. It had the potential to be a great film. It used to sadden me but now it’s…It was a painful time. Every day. Beyond that, it’s difficult to speak about it. I don’t even revisit it."
